All students must attend lectures and labs in Materials Science and basic courses in Chemistry and Solid State Physics. After the first semester students choose their specialisation in either Nanomaterials or Biomaterials. In addition both tracks offer many elective lectures.
Advanced Materials is a strongly research-oriented programme. Graduates will be able to work in industrial and public research and development with emphasis on Materials Science, Nanomaterials, Biomaterials, Physics or Chemistry. Graduates will have learned to study and work independently and will have gained intercultural competence.
