Overview
The interdisciplinary program ‘Advanced Materials Science’ offers to excellent students with degrees in chemistry, physics, or materials sciences a multi-faceted training in the topical field of advanced materials, covering the range from nanoparticles to macroscopic matter. The program features small classes, intensive tutoring, project work, presentations by renowned international guest speakers, a spring school, and extensive practical training at leading industrial R&D units and production sites. The program is completed with a Master’s Thesis. Through an efficient use of the term breaks the master program is condensed from four to three semesters and enriched by training in complementary key qualifications.
Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to the program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s (B.Sc.) or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Physics or Materials Science, from a university or college with an internationally recognized Bachelor’s program. Candidates with equivalent qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
