During their Master's studies, students must develop the ability to study independently. Advanced course work and integration into research projects result in a high demand for exercises and self-guided studies. While some courses are mandatory, freedom of choice is intentionally given for elective courses from the field of Mechanical Engineering, thus guaranteeing the combination of a broad-based mechanical engineering education with a specialisation of choice.
Their graduates will have obtained knowledge and skills on an advanced engineering level, rounded out by the experience of international studies. They can move towards jobs in industry for research & development or management or to continue an academic career with a Ph.D. project.
