The study programme imparts in-depth special knowledge of current fields of research. Besides specialising in their own field of scientific interest, students are encouraged to study and discuss problems in other fields. Furthermore special emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary aspects. The curriculum comprises lectures, seminars, colloquiums, workshops and discussion groups, and systematic support of the thesis work.
In addition, internationally renowned scientists are invited to give lectures during the study programme.
