MA Journalism and Documentary Practice: University of Sussex

About the programme

This MA is aimed at students with an interest in news documentary and current affairs. The degree offers both a critical engagement with, and a specialist practical training in, journalism and documentary making. On successful completion of this MA, you will be equipped for a wide range of employment in the field of news and documentary making.

Admission requirments

UK entrance requirements

A first- or upper second-class undergraduate honours degree in an appropriate discipline. They also welcome applicants who do not have this academic qualification who are able to demonstrate in their application that they have relevant professional/creative skills and experience.

Overseas entrance requirements

Sussex receives applications from all over the world and is therefore very experienced in assessing the qualifications offered by students from outside the UK.

English language requirements
