You can choose to organise your studies into pathways: E-Business/E-Commerce; Human Systems including Software Design; Managing Innovation; Programming; Technology Innovation; or you can devise your own combination of courses according to your personal interests.
The University of Sussex and American Express have joined forces to offer the opportunity to study for the MSc programmes in Human-Centred Computer Systems, Information Technology with Business and Management, and Intelligent Systems, part time while working for the Technologies Division of American Express, based in the Sussex Innovation Centre on the University of Sussex campus, for two years part time. At the end of the two years, the highest-performing students will have an opportunity to gain a full-time job with American Express.
UK entrance requirements
A first- or upper second-class undergraduate honours degree in a relevant field. Successful applicants need a good background in computing, information technology or engineering in degrees with a reasonable programming content. Mature applicants with relevant industrial experience will also be considered on an individual basis.
Overseas entrance requirements
Sussex receives applications from all over the world and is therefore very experienced in assessing the qualifications offered by students from outside the UK.

English language requirements
IELTS 6.0, with not less than 6.0 in each section. Internet TOEFL with 80 overall including 22 in Speaking and 24 in Writing. For more information, refer to English language requirements .
