Key research areas

Their superb facilities underpin research in a range of different biological areas from metabolomics, molecular enzymology and structural biology, through cell signalling and control of transcription and translation, to molecular microbiology, plant molecular biology and cardiovascular biology.

Research collaborations

  • They are part of the Graduate School of Life Sciences and maintain close links with the Departments of Chemistry, Plant Sciences, the Systems Biology Centre and the Wellcome Trust Centre for Stem Cell Research.
