The AgEcon programme emphasises a firm foundation in economic analysis and quantitative methods to address real-world problems. Classroom work is supplemented by computer exercises, discussion sessions, research seminars and case studies. Students acquire both the analytical skills and policy background required for strategic positions in the public and private sector. The M.Sc. degree in Agricultural Economics also provides excellent qualification to commence doctoral research and pursue an academic career.
